Job Overview:

The Door Security is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the supermarket entrance. This role involves monitoring entry and exit points, greeting customers, deterring theft, and responding to security incidents promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities: Observe customers entering and exiting the supermarket to ensure a safe and secure environment. Check for suspicious activity and potential theft. Greet customers warmly and provide assistance or directions as needed. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Identify and deter potential shoplifters or disruptive individuals. Conduct bag checks if required and in accordance with store policies. Observe customers entering and exiting the supermarket to ensure a safe and secure environment. Check for suspicious activity and potential theft. Greet customers warmly and provide assistance or directions as needed. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Identify and deter potential shoplifters or disruptive individuals. Conduct bag checks if required and in accordance with store policies. Report any security incidents or suspicious behavior to the Store Manager. Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches, in a calm and efficient manner. Assist in the evacuation of the premises if necessary. Follow legal guidelines and protocols for security and safety.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Previous experience in security or customer service is a plus but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
