Ebenezer Yard Materials, LLC Landscape/Property Maintenance Worker in West Seneca, New York

Landscape/Property Maintenance Worker - (3) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 4/1/25-12/15/25.

Employer: Ebenezer Yard Materials, LLC, 1655 Union Road, West Seneca, NY 14224.

Duties: Perform general landscaping/maintenance and clean-up work. Mowing, trimming, weed control, fertilizing. Plant trees and shrubs. General labor and property maintenance in asphalt/concrete recycling yards. The process of recycling creates a great deal of dust, which requires wash-down of roads and equipment using high-pressure water hoses. Also in the process, any steel that is in the concrete gets removed in the crushing process. This results in small pieces of wire mesh being scattered in the work area. After the crushing company moves out of the yard, the workers clean up the wire mesh pieces. The workers also clean the mortar off the bricks and landscape cobblestones for resale. Travel to work-sites in Erie, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus Counties. Optional employer provided housing upon availability at no cost. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. Saturday work required, when necessary. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Employer to provide transportation to client locations in Erie Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus Counties, from designated location: 1655 Union Road, West Seneca, NY 14224.

Work days: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week. 40 hours at $26.28-$28.00/hour, OT at $39.42-42.00/hr. Raises and/or bonuses may be paid at employer discretion based on work performance, skill, tenure.

No education or experience required.

Optional employer provided housing upon availability at no cost.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expenses (subsistence is $15.88 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $59 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
