Vernon Downs Casino Floor Customer Service Attendant in Vernon, New York

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing exceptional service to all Guest and ensures VLT machines are constantly and consistently monitored to ensure guest needs are taken care of at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

• Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

• Monitors assigned section(s) for lit service lights and responds to the lit service lights in a timely manner.

• Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies and procedures.

• Monitors the operation of assigned VLT machines and participates in payout of manual jackpots in accordance with policy.

• Understands and uses assigned radio for transmissions in accordance with Departmental policies and procedures.

• Monitors assigned section(s) for litter and dispose the litter.

• Monitors assigned section(s) for alignment of chairs and align chairs.

• Replace ticket paper in VLT machines in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Assists customers, in a timely fashion, with VLT bill jams, voucher jams and machine malfunctions.

• Assists customers in a timely basis with requests for change.

• Able to explain the basic play for different VLT machines to customers.

• Promote positive customer relations at all times.

• Maintains a consistent and good attendance record.

• Promotes departmental and property-wide promotions with all Customers.

• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Previous work experience with the public preferred.
