Sunset Club at Tappen Beach is located on the North Shore of long island overlooking the long island sound. The waterfront restaurant offers guests indoor and outdoor dining with live music.

Expeditor The position of Food Runner/Expeditor is very important as this person will work between both front and back of house in our restaurant! The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail and reliable, work efficiently, and be friendly to every guest with whom he/she interacts. The Food Runner/Expeditor is responsible for plate presentation and prompt delivery of each dish to the guest. He/She would assist the Chef in keeping the kitchen stocked with necessary items, dressing each plate with the appropriate condiments to complete presentation, and ensure efficient delivery to the table. During the course of his/her duties, the Food Runner/Expeditor is polite and happy to provide outstanding service and hospitality to all guests.

Purchaser Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations. Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
