Food Service Worker - Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center - per diem

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of assignments that may include; patient customer service, catering services, patient visitation, tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning, and use of kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in the dish room cleaning and putting dishes away

  • Work on their feet most of the day working with stock lifting items up to 50 lbs

  • Work in freezer and cooler with food checking dates and bring in new stock

  • Prepare menu items identified on the production sheet, in accordance with forecasted and/or tallied quantities, following MHCI recipes at all times.

  • Prepare salad items, cold food items, and desserts for patients and retail.

  • Adhere to HACPP guidelines to maintain sanitation of all food preparation and service.

  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks which may include dish washing, pot washing, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment.

  • Assist in the service and storage of food.

What you will need:

  • Food service and customer service experience is required.

  • Ability to follow instructions.

  • Ability to read and write.

  • Must be willing to work AM & PM shifts and weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $16.20 - $23.50

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
