The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Dietary Supervisor in Poughkeepsie, New York

  • Ensure safe and sanitary operation of kitchen operations at all times

  • Conduct weekly sanitation audits along with the Food Service Director (FSD)

  • Delegate additional tasks to dietary aides as needed throughout shift, example: handling of call downs, preparation and delivery of additional items needed on units during meal service

  • Ensure proper portioning and plating of food during tray line

  • Conduct test tray audits during meal service for temperature, accuracy and appearance and implement corrective actions as needed as per FSD

  • Conduct daily meal rounds to each dining room along with FSD

  • Complete weekly resident satisfaction surveys and update resident preferences in Meal Tracker as needed

  • Check refrigerators in kitchen and on units for sanitation and expired items

  • Check all logs within kitchen and on units

  • Enter/remove residents and update room changes in Meal Tracker as needed

  • Print daily meal tickets/nourishment labels
