The Merchandise Associate is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to guests in a variety of duties relating to a retail store service experience including recording transactions and collecting payment with a point of sale system, stocking fixtures and providing a Legendary experience.
Properly records all transactions via the point of sale system and informs guests of amount owed
Collects the proper money for transaction; processes credit card or collects cash and determines correct change for guests
Accounts for all transactions; maintains accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift
Provides customer service to guests by being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products available for purchase
Suggest additional items to customers, as appropriate
Ensure that all fixtures are clean, stocked and tidy to deliver a full service
Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed
Ensure that the correct close down procedure is followed: all areas of the store are to be left clean, tidy and secure, ready for the next day’s service
Assist with daily, weekly and month inventory as needed
Provide guidance to inclusive of retail options and general information

Excellent guest service skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank
Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis
Willingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations
Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor
Ability to be on your feet for long hours
Ability to bend and squat
Ability to work independently or in a team during set up and to get tasks done quickly
Ability to communicate effectively with management and guests
Ability to work all major events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
