Job Title: Food Services Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Services Worker to join our team at a retail burger restaurant on campus. The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, assist with various tasks, and adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cook at a retail burger restaurant on campus

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards

• Clean and sanitize walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces

• Remove trash and place it into designated containers

• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans

• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up

• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products

• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed

• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements

• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment

This position is based at a retail burger restaurant on campus. The work involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting with various tasks, and working in a team-oriented environment. The role may require lifting and moving supplies, as well as standing for extended periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Glen Head, Ny.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
