Venue Supervisor

Are you a natural leader with a passion for exceptional service? We're looking for a Venue Supervisor to manage both Front of House and Back of House staff, ensuring top-tier operational standards and guest experiences in line with Company Policy, Procedures, and Gaming Regulations.

Schedule:

You'll most likely work 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, but we're looking for someone with open availability to meet the needs of our dynamic venue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Responsible for training, scheduling and supervision of all staff in assigned Food & Beverage outlet. Outlet supervisor may be used in any capacity on property.

  • Strong experience in People Management, including HR tasks and team building

  • Kitchen Supervisory Experience with a focus on operational excellence

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess.

  • Maintain par levels for all food and beverage items based on usage patterns and forecasted demand.

  • Handles all associate relation issues as needed, promoting a positive work environment.

  • Supervises and reports to management all associate call ins and scheduling conflicts to ensure a cost-effective staffing level.

  • Promote outstanding guest relations resolving any guest dispute promptly and in a courteous manner. Constantly monitoring operations during peak hours by talking with customers and working alongside staff.

  • Ensures standards for Health and Safety are met and maintained at all times.

  • Knowledge of all State alcohol and NYS Commercial Gaming Regulations and ensures adherence.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, transferring, suspending, promoting, discharging, evaluating, assigning and discipline of all assigned venue associates.

  • In-depth knowledge of Sanitation and Food Safety Guidelines

  • All other duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Directly supervises all service associates on assigned shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School Diploma or GED required. Two- or four-year degree is Hospitality Management or related field preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience in restaurant service with supervisory experience required.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the project floor, the noise level increases to loud.
