RESPONSIBILITIES -Cleans and maintains food and beverage storage/preparation/cooking areas and equipment, ensuring that they are kept at the highest level of sanitation and quality -Maintains proper sanitation of all dishwashing and pot washing areas and equipment -Operates/maintains dishwashing equipment properly to provide clean, sanitized china, glass and silver -Sorts/washes/stores all china, glassware, silverware, service wares, pots, pans, utensils -Operates silver burnishing equipment -Polishes silver serving equipment, silverware and utensils -Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times -Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance -Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees -Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards -Complies with required safety regulations and procedures -Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS -High School diploma or equivalent -Ability to understand basic English -Ability to stand, bend and stoop repetitively during eight hour shift -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively -Knowledge of dishwashing equipment operation, chemicals and chemical feed equipment -Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
