Mohonk Moutain House Dishwasher in New Paltz, New York
Dishwasher: (10) Fulltime, Temporary, Peak Load (H-2B) Jobs available 04/01/2025-01/01/2026.

Duties: Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashers or by hands. Properly store and sanitize all clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. Sort and remove trash and recyclables, placing it is designated pickup areas. Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, coolers, and storage areas. Maintain all kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean, organized and orderly manner. Some indoor and outdoor walking and work required, working with chemicals and water/steam daily. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, and flex arms, walk up and down stairs/inclines, sit, climb up/down ladders, or stand for up to 5 hours at a time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to and carry a distance of up to 100 feet with/without assistance. Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day. Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language and communicate in a clear and congenial manner, with our guests, visitors, and employees. Must be able to hear verbal instructions, directions, and warnings.
Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability, along with the corresponding deduction of $103.50 (utilities included). 3 meals per day (deduction included with the housing). Employees will be required to wear a uniform to work.
Work Days: Shifts vary and range from 5:00 am - 1:00 pm, 7:00 AM TO 3:00 PM, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm; 2:00 pm -10:00 pm, 3:00 PM 11: 00PM. 35 Hours per week. Overtime may be available, but is not guaranteed. Open 7 days per week. Work days and shift times will ary. Shifts vary based on business levels, occupancy and scheduled events. Holiday and weekend shifts are required. $19 per our and $28.50 per hour for OT when available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Employer will conduct background heck prior to offer of employment. On the job training will be provided, if necessary, but it is not required.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.
All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
