Glens Falls Hospital Campus Access Specialist - Security in Glens Falls, New York

Serve as an access point at all entrances of the hospital for visitors, patients and employees utilizing the new Visitor Management System. * High School Graduate or GED required. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and policies/procedures. * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Project a professional image. Must be friendly, personable and always alert to customer needs. * Must be able to communicate effectively with all individuals in a friendly, positive manner and possibly in adverse situations. * Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute in all units of measure. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations such as those relating to the security function. * Ability to use computers. * Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities. Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $17.25 to $22.50 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
