Job description
Purpose: Our Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is GROWING and is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill our Assistant Dietary Manager position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and maintaining the dietary department, dietary personnel, and food production. This position will report directly to the Dietary Department Manager. MUST BE WILLIN TO OBTAIN YOUR CERTIFICATION AND ENJOY WORKING WITH SENIORS/GERIATRIC COMMUNITY IN A TEAM SETTING!

Responsibilities:
Plans, assign & inspects the work of Food Service Staff.
Schedules and assigns staff prepares department payroll for data entry.
Orders all food supplies and equipment for the department.
Monitors invoices for compliance with bids to maintain high quality, cost-efficient service.
Charts dietetic progress for Residents at least quarterly to meet care plan goals, as required.
Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.
Must be able to work independently and within a team setting
Must have experience in cooking
Responsible for other tasks, as assigned by manager/administration
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must hold or be capable of acquiring certificates required by the state.
Must be willing to obtain Certification (Required)
