Job Title: Custodial Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Custodial Worker responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of classrooms and other areas of the property. This role involves assisting in the moving of office and institutional furniture and equipment, loading and unloading school materials and office supplies, and performing grounds maintenance tasks such as landscaping and snow removal. Additionally, the role includes trash removal, cleaning, and mopping floors throughout the school.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms and other areas of the property

• Assist in moving office and institutional furniture and equipment

• Load and unload school materials and office supplies

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including landscaping and snow removal

• Remove trash from various areas

• Clean and mop floors throughout the school

Essential Skills

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial duties

• Proficiency in environmental services

• Ability to perform sweeping and mopping tasks

• Experience in groundskeeping and grounds maintenance

• Competence in trash removal

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime and potential weekend work if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $37440.00/yr.
