Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in New York State. Preference is given to individuals with education or experience in food service or programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. All candidates will be subject to a criminal background check

Duties Description The Food Service Worker 1 incumbents assist with meal preparation for Camp Wilton, following the directions of the Cook responsible for the food preparation, and serves and maintains the food for consumption. Additionally, the Food Service Worker 1 assists the counselors with the monitoring of diets to ensure that the campers’ dietary needs are being met according to their dietary plan. Following meals, the Food Service Workers 1 are responsible for the cleaning of the food preparation area, running the dishwasher, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining hall.
