Eden Valley Growers Inc Agricultural Worker in Eden, New York
2 full time, temporary, seasonal jobs available 2/20/25 - 10/18/25.
Duties: Workers will perform duties relating to the handling and packing of various fruit and vegetable crops such as: corn, peppers, specialty peppers, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, broccoli, lettuce, beans, Brussel sprouts, and cabbage. Duties will include loading and unloading of trucks, stacking and palatalizing of produce items, assembling orders, icing and cooling of produce, repacking of produce as needed, and general clean-up and maintenance. Duties may vary from time to time.
Applicants must have a minimum of three months experience operating both hand and electric jacks and forklifts as well as the ability to back up and pull out CDL size trucks within the yard at Eden Valley Growers. All applicants must possess the ability to work between hot and cold temperatures throughout their shift, work various shifts, be on their feet for long periods of time and the ability to lift 80 pounds.
Requirements:
- 3 months experience
- Must be able to Lift up to 80 pounds
- Extensive sitting or walking
- Frequent stooping or bending
- Repetitive movements
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
