Living Legends Health Maintenance Assistant-PER-DIEM in EAST PATCHOGUE, New York

Description

The Maintenance Assistant PER-DIEM is responsible for the routine upkeep of all areas of a facility both inside and outside the building. These responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting HVAC systems, lighting, indoor climate control, emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed

  • Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot

  • Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders

  • Remove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up

  • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests

  • Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

  • Troubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessary

  • Ensure building safety rules are implemented and maintained.
