Dietary Aide

SHIFT: Full Time; Days- 6am-2pm, includes every other weekendPart-Time; Days and Evenings- 6am-2pm; 12PM-8PM; 4:30PM-8:30PM includes every other weekend

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Dietary Aide is a health professional who helps prepare and cook patient meals. Their duties include preparing food dishes, delivering them to specific people or rooms, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare tables and carts for service

  • Prepare beverages and receive food from preparation areas based on individual resident needs

  • Daily cleaning duties

  • Organizing incoming stock

  • Replenishing supply inventory in the kitchen area

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Must be punctual, reliable, and flexible

  • Must be able to work in close cooperation with others as well as independently

  • Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable

  • Strong customer service skills and compassion
