Lifeguard (Seasonal Temporary)Duties and Requirements:Under supervision, this role consists of Lifeguarding at a small campground beachfront.Job duties include:The Supervision of swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within safety protocols;Spotting hazards or potential hazards and taking corrective action to prevent accidents;Performing rescue in the event of swimming accidents;Performing first aid and CPR in adverse situations.Other duties may also include being responsible for cleanliness of restroom facilities, issuing camping permits, and monitoring the entrance/exit of the campground. All lifeguards must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid NYS driver’s license, and possess valid NYS certification for Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills/First Aid/CPR/AED. Pay: $21.00/hr.
