It can happen, because we're looking for temp to hire Sanitation workers to join the amazing team at E & J Gallo Winery. Here's a preview of what you'll be working on as a Sanitation Operator.

• Under general supervision, supports facility sanitation activities to include master sanitation schedule cleaning duties (exterior equipment cleaning, flooring sanitation, drain cleaning).

• Performs sanitation tasks to support bottling line and facility cleanliness.

• Basic knowledge of daily sanitation practices.

• Safety and efficiently sanitizes equipment and meets established goals in a cost and quality effective manner.

• Maintains the mindset that there is always room for improvement, there is always a way to do it better.

• Ability to keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant.

• Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.

• Responsible for routine reporting and quality checks.

• Must be able to perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.

• Comply with Gallo sustainability policies and practices.

• Is situationally aware, understands sense of urgency with regard to safety, quality, and productivity.

• Effective communication and satisfactory attendance.

Physical requirements

• Lift and move product and samples weighing up to 45 pounds.

• Required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, taste or smell.

• Use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear.

• Occasionally required to sit, bend, crouch, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Must be able to see close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus.

Pay Details: $17.81 per hour
