Position Title: Sous Chef - Bridgehampton Club

Salary: $75000-$80000/yr

Job Summary

As an Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the successful culinary operation at The Bridgehampton Club in Bridgehampton, NY. You will assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment. You may supervise hourly associates and you work with the Executive Chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional.

Must be flexible to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account

• Assists the Sr.Executive Chef with planning and creating menus

• Produces and execute catering events

• Other duties will include ordering, inventory, and scheduling

• The Sous Chef will work alongside the Executive Chef

• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of culinary/kitchen management experience with a la carte experience

• Catering experience is a plus

• Must be flexible to work weekends

• Strong Line Chef experience is a plus

• High volume, complex food service operations experience

• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
