Taconic Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to join our team. In our long-term care and rehabilitation setting, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Cleanliness: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and restrooms to ensure high standards of sanitation.
Adhere to Protocols: Follow infection control and safety guidelines to protect residents and staff.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the environmental services team to address cleaning needs promptly and efficiently.
Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any facility maintenance or repair needs.
Support Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning and other special tasks as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
Must be able to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
