Swan Bay Resort and Marina Retail Clerk in Alexandria Bay, New York
The Rift Boutique at Swan Bay Resort & Marina is the destination for RV & Boating provisions, 1000 Islands souvenirs & fine giftware! The Rift Boutique is hiring friendly Retail Clerks who will be the first point of contact as our guests enter the front doors. As a Retail Clerk, your main responsibilities will include welcoming guests, assisting customers with bookings & purchases and handling both cash and credit card transactions. We expect our Retail Clerks to uphold our values of service, betterment & reliability when representing Swan Bay Resort at all times. This position is Seasonal (May-October) with Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Pay is based upon experience and ranges from $14.20-$15/hr to start. Retail Clerk hours range from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, so flexibility in your schedule is a must.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Representing the Resort as the first point of contact to greet and welcome guests Assisting customers in making purchases Completing sales transactions via handling cash, credit cards, receipts, etc. Keeping inventory stocked and accounted for; notifying management of low stock Counting cash drawers at the end of your shift Answering/Directing phone calls and assisting customers as needed Assisting the Front Desk with booking and/or modifying Reservations Assisting the Front Desk with signing in visitors and completing guest passes Keeping the Store clean and tidy through daily sweeping, mopping, dusting Completing any additional tasks asked for by management
